New Canucks Fan? Here are some tips...

To all the new canucks fans out there you have chosen the right team but you're probably in need of some tips in "fan etiquette" well here you have it.

1) First and most importantly DO NOT I repeat DO NOT be ashamed of your team. All teams have their good and bad days but its how they play that counts. Nobody likes a bandwagon fan so don't flip flop between teams be loyal to one so all your time of faithfulness can be rubbed in the faces of the unbelievers when your team finally wins that sparkling cup! If you live in a Hockey City that isn't Vancouver get ready for a doubters but rejoice in your wins with pride! Don't be afraid to be a prideful fan.

2) Buy something to prove that you are a faithful fan, it may be a jersey or if thats to expensive try a hat or a tee-shirt. pet people know that you are faithful and that you are unashamed of being labeled as a "CANUCK

3) Cheer loud! like really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY LOUD! Once again this ties in with number one, but this is how you show the people around you that you are unashamed to be a canuck!

4) Do Not try and fight a player. Don't even try provoking them. Unless how ever you are sitting with the Green Men or where they sit, then go right ahead and play with their minds but please, please, please, please! don't bother them to a point where they actually take action and try to fight you. Because we canuck fans have class unlike fans from other teams of you recall the Minnesota incident. Go a head get loud and play with their minds but remember that some games get pretty heated and we wouldn't want to get a bad reputation since we already have a good one.

5) Never ever ever change the channel or leave your seat during a lost. If you do that only shows that you don't really believe in them, it shows that you are nothing but a bandwagon fan.

6) And finally just have fun! you are cheering for one of the greatest teams in franchise history! We're in the top 5 in both power play and power kill. we have world class players such as the Swedes, bronze medalist Sami Salo, silver medalist Ryan Kesler and gold medalist Roberto Luongo who has won in every level in hockey but the NHL but plans to soon. We are cheering for a team with dedicated player who want to win the cup but they need people who believe in them and those people are us!
